As an independent not-for-profit organisation, we offer standards for uniquely identifying products. The GS1 code is like a passport for your product. This allows you to sell your products in all stores and via sales sites (including Amazon, bol.com and Google Shopping).

Besides standards for identification, we also have services for excchanging product data. This allows you to follow your product on its own journey through the chain. In this way, chains become more efficient and reliable.

GS1 is the only official organisation for issuing GS1 codes (also known as EAN or GTIN).
