Barrie Kersbergen is a Lead Data Scientist at bol.com for over five years. His expertise lies in designing and building artificial intelligent realtime systems for further improving customer experience by personalizing online content. Barrie has been using Hadoop in production since 2010.
Barrie’s working experiences are also drawn from his years prior to bol.com, when he was a developer for twelve years at a research center for science and mathematics education of Utrecht University.
