Roger Graell Sole is an accomplished digital leader with extensive experience in e-commerce, marketing, and international business expansion. He currently serves as the Chief Digital & International Franchise Officer at Bata Group, spearheading the company’s global digital strategy and franchise operations. Prior to his role at Bata, Roger spent 12 years as the E-commerce Director at Mango, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the brand into a global digital powerhouse. Under his leadership, Mango’s online business expanded significantly, reinforcing its position as a key player in international fashion retail. Before joining Mango, Roger was Southern Europe Marketing Director at lastminute.com (2007–2010), where he contributed to the growth of the European subsidiary of Travelocity.com, a leading name in online travel. His strategic vision helped strengthen the company’s presence in key markets. Earlier in his career, Roger held senior marketing and operational roles at Redcats (formerly the home shopping division of Kering Group), developing the business for brands such as La Redoute, Vertbaudet, and EmpireStores across multiple European countries. His expertise in digital transformation and customer engagement was instrumental in driving business growth. Academically, Roger holds a diploma in Mathematics and Statistics from Polytechnic University of Catalonia, complemented by a Management Development Programme (PDD) from IESE Business School. Beyond his corporate career, Roger is also an Associate Professor of E-commerce and Digital Marketing at ESIC Business School, where he shares his insights on digital strategy, omnichannel retail, and business innovation with the next generation of industry leaders.
