Sinds de oprichting in 2004 heeft LensOnline de markt voor contactlenzen getransformeerd door online gemak te combineren met professionele oogzorg via lokale opticiens. Met activiteiten in meerdere landen biedt LensOnline klanten niet alleen scherpe prijzen, maar ook de expertise van opticiens. Onze bestaande e-commerce infrastructuur was echter beperkt in schaalbaarheid en flexibiliteit. Om de omnichannel-ervaring te verbeteren en internationale groei te ondersteunen, hebben we besloten over te stappen naar Shopware. We combineren hierbij de webshop en het POS systeem in 1 platform. Deze replatforming omvatte een migratie van bestaande klant- en productgegevens zonder impact op de dagelijkse operaties, de implementatie van een modulair en schaalbaar e-commerceplatform met focus op lokale aanpassingen per land en de integratie van digitale marketingstrategieën en data-analyse om klantgedrag beter te begrijpen.
